Notice of Service Rate Increase For Performance Appliance Repair

And Dryer Vent Cleaning Services

Dear Valued Customers,

We are getting in touch with you to inform you that starting January 30, 2021 you will receive the new service diagnostics rate for all appliances. This is due to increase in prices of various appliance parts as well as an overall increase in work demands.

There will be two rates for diagnostic, depending on where the appliance repair is, that will be your set rateWe have taken into account external factors such as:

- The evolution of the material and currency costs.

- Increase in gasoline prices and mileage.

- Increase in auto mechanical repairs

As well as Internal factors, such as:

- Labor costs

- Amount of time needed to order and receive parts.

- County and estate sales tax rate

-Once a diagnosis is made, the technician will inform you of the total cost of the repair (this includes parts and labor ONLY). The total cost will NOT include the service call or diagnosis fee – this will be charged separately.

- If there is a decision NOT the repair the unit, the diagnostic/service call fee will be due BEFORE the technician leaves the service address.

- If there is a decision made TO repair the unit, the fee will then be due BEFORE any parts can be ordered

Taking all of these factors into account, the diagnosis rate be of $120* per diagnosis This rate applies to these cities listed below *additional neighboring cities may be added in the future to this list*:

Greensboro

Jamestown

Pleasant Garden

McLeansville

Oak Ridge

Whitsett.

Browns Summit

Summerfield

Thomasville

Archdale

Trinity

Colfax

Taking all of these factors into account, the diagnosis rate be of $145 and up*per diagnosis (*this price may vary depending on the model of the unit.)This rate applies to these cities listed below*additional neighboring cities may be added in the future to this list*:

Winston Salem

Burlington

Mebane

Lexington

Asheboro

Graham

Elon

Reidsville

Kernersville

Rural Hall

Stokesdale

For these cities (with the diagnosis rate of $145 and above) that are within a 30 mile radius outside of Greensboro, there will be an additional $75 service trip charge added. This will be added to the total cost of repair (including the diagnostic, parts, and labor)

If a request of repair occurs in a city/town not listed above in either list, there will be room for discussion of a rate for diagnostic service and/or repair.

Once a diagnosis is made, the technician will inform you of the total cost of the repair (this includes parts and labor ONLY). The total cost will NOT include the service call or diagnosis fee – this will be charged separately.

If there is a decision NOT the repair the unit, the diagnostic/service call fee will be due BEFORE the technician leaves the service address.

If there is a decision made TO repair the unit, the fee will then be due BEFORE any parts can be ordered.

This decision was made taking into account expenses (such as taxes, insurance, etc) from both parties. We hope to continue working with each other better as time goes on.
